Third of May Dance Concert
The "Third of May" dance concert is one of the most exciting events of the Polish Community in Portland.
Traditionally, the Sobotka Dance Group, with the Polish School, presents a new dance program prepared during the school year. The event is a feast of joy and not an official ceremony. All are welcome and the entry is free.
May 3rd marks the 213th Anniversary of the first written
constitution in Europe founded on democratic principles.
In Poland, the Third of May is recognized now as a Constitution Day.
It is helt each year on Sunday around May 3rd, 100pm, at Polish Hall
