Dear Guests,
It is with great pleasure that we present A Polish Country Wedding for the seventh time. This successful event was presented before in Portland, Tacoma and Seattle, most of the times with the tickets sold out days before the event.
We hope that you will enjoy participating in this event, and will share the enthusiasm that we, the organizers, Sobotka dancers, have had in preparing it.
This event is an opportunity for you to observe and participate in Polish wedding customs and traditions. Also, the event is a fund-raiser for the Sobotka Dance Group. Your support helps Sobotka elevate their standards and to become one of the best folk dance groups in Portland.
And finally, we hope this will be a joyful ceremony that unites many people interested in Polish culture, much in the same way that weddings united the people of Polish villages for centuries.
